A big day for more than 1,800 grads planning to attend ceremonies
This May, more than 1,800 NAIT students will step under the warm lights of the convocation stage to be cheered on by family and friends at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Call it a time of transformation: the point where the chrysalis of education is shaken off to allow wings to spread and ambitions to soar. Or, just call it a really big party for a job well done.
In fact, it’s the biggest convocation in NAIT’s history, which includes 53 before this. Here we look at all the ways this one stands out for the polytechnic – just as each ceremony will be marked in the memories of the students who step off that stage as new grads.
