Feeling the beat – and burn – with 'ravercise'

Nothing beats exam stress like music, exercise and glowsticks

Staff and students were busting a move and breaking a sweat at the first 'ravercise' event at NAIT. The glow-in-the-dark fitness class featured a live DJ, neon lights and glowsticks and free swag for all participants.

More than 140 people signed up for the experience, led by Naissa Preston (Personal Fitness Training ’99) and Danielle Smith. The event, organized by Campus Recreation, was a great way to relieve stress during finals and get moving in an unusual way.
